Considering I set up this blog at the beginning of October it makes sense that my first post should be about one of the most wonderful holidays out there: Halloween! In honor of the season I have a nice theme going on and my zombie-kitty picture up top.
I have always been a fan of dressing up for any occasion that I can. Just ask my coworkers.... Wether it's for an event or a specific holiday I'll either have a costume or at least pull out the Lolita wear.... ok the lolita style I wear on normal days too...The only thing that I've found a bit sad during this season is that other than the standard parties or dance club events this area doesn't have much in the way of halloween themed...events? Or maybe I just live under a rock... which is possible.... Anyhow. To remedy this, my boyfriend and my sometimes willing accomplice are planning on donning our dark finery and going out to dinner and maybe a movie or bowling etc. We're going to make our own fun night! It'll be fun to see what people think of our chosen outfits. We aren't going to do full costumes, but more upscale gothic elegance outfits. It's hard to explain but I will post pics afterwards!
This month is also the New York Comic Con! I'll be heading downstate with a group of peoples to what is going to be my first convention! I almost had a costume done for it, but to save myself from stress overload...again... I'm limiting myself to having a lolita themed weekend. Next convention, Ahsoka will be complete! I swear it!!
